Analog Party was formed in 2019 by singer/multi-instrumentalist Animaan Pathak, after honing his skills as a local drummer through his teen years in the Los Angeles underground rock scene. From inception, Analog Party has distilled grunge, industrial, post-punk, and classic rock influences into a unique sound, showcasing a wide musical range and a conscious desire to avoid being pigeonholed artistically.
Primarily a solo endeavor, Analog Party ALSO features several guests and collaborators contributing throughout the creative process, resulting in the latest five-song EP, Exhibit A.
“A disorienting, cinematic soundscape that sounds unpolished but deeply intentional. Think Nine Inch Nails meets early Muse with a splash of lo-fi vulnerability.”
— Mystic Sons
“brimming with dark guitars, ethereal synths, pulsing bass and drums, and achingly emotional, deeply evocative vocals.”
— Atwood Magazine
“Analog Party doesn’t just dip into multiple genres; they dive headfirst, swimming effortlessly between grunge, nu-metal, alt-rock, post-hardcore, and even jazz without ever losing their identity…built on dynamic shifts, bold choices, and a level of musicality that feels both instinctual and deeply considered.”
